**Moschetto Modello 1891 Carcano Rifle by ValtrompIa
6.5x52mm. 17.7" barrel length. SN: A1257. Blued metal finish faded to deep brown patina overall with walnut straight wrist stock and mounting underfolding spike bayonet. Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle charged with en bloc clips. Upper barrel shank flat shows manufacturer marking GARDONE/VALTROMPIA followed by {Crown/RE} marking. Right barrel flat displays date marking 1935-XIII. Serial number matches on the bolt handle and triggerguard. Sights consist of standard adjustable rear notch and front blade sights.

Condition
Poor. Bore is Dark with deep brown patina, some oxidation, and pitting. Metal finish shows some traces of blue on the receiver with deep brown patina dominating overall, some scattered surface roughness, and oxidation. Stock shows some dents, mars, and handling wear. Bolt fails to lock back into the cocked position.
